Simple Pleasures

Two nights at the end of December in the hills outside Cluj, photographed almost entirely in the dark. No event, no occasion - a fire lit in the cold, food cooked outside, head torches moving through the snow, and the warm room waiting at the end of it.

Twelve frames shot in black and white with a red filter, exposed for the flame and the torch beam so everything outside that light falls away.
